Eagle cancelling vacations?
Believe it or not, NO! Someone has a brain and knows what fragile territory that would be. AA recalls are squeezing the planned flying hours very tightly for the summer (specific problem was DFW EMB CA's) , and AE had a few options; Cancel vacations, withold CA's from recall for a few months... -

American Eagle question
Everyone is aware of the upgrade issue with all regionals by now. Not news. I second the suggestion to call Karen. Something probably didn't go through correctly cause you'd have gotten a call in 1.5 seconds otherwise. -

AE base choice
ORD CRJ has tended more senior than DFW CRJ. ORD EMJ has been the biggest open seat in the system for a while now. -

Eagle commute cost: Commuting on CASS carriers would cost you zero. Commuting on AA/AE and NOT in the cockpit will cost you $11. Jumpseating with any AMR aircraft is also free. ORD would be very easy to get as a base. As a commute, you'd probably take Shuttle or UA to keep it free. If there were... -

There are a LOT of current FO's that will not put in for a CA upgrade the moment they can hold it. If you live in ORD and their are 20 SAAB CA spots open in DFW or LAX, guaranteed the spots will go to a lot of more junior people. A few questions about Eagle
And hurry! Mngmt and ALPA just agreed to pay critical open time in December at 175% pay due to our crappy staffing. WE NEED FO'S! Of course they've known this for a long time and are only now deciding to make some moves to make it worth your while. -
