    Metroliner question

    Metro driver, Would a metro be capable of takeoff with 19 pass and fuel to fly from Kbjc to ames Iowa from a 7000' runway at 5700' temp in the upper 60's to low70's. Runway 29r/11/L is closed until Nov. the charter from jeffco will be moved to Kfnl... I thought the metro could do it... thanks...

    When can you call yourself a pilot?

    When was the first time you said to someone, "I am a pilot". Was it after you had all your ratings and were a CFI? Did you wait until you were paid to fly? Did you start calling yourself a pilot during training, or just after you got the PPL? Just curious.. snowman
