Dave, they did. It was a very heart felt letter from the General himself. He even said he's urging all MEC Chairmen out there to get Comair pilots preferential hiring......at other regional carriers. -
Requiring Dispatch Cert for Flight Following positions
I worked as a DXer at a small airline and we had a flight follower. When the pilots called the office, 3 separate phones rang. When the two DXers were busy, the FF would try to answer questions as best as possible, including TAFs and weather on the radar. FAA says it's illegal to give this info...- DX Rick

It looks like he tried twice, but failed. How does one fail two police training courses but is approved to be an FFDO? I read in another forum that his dad is a roofer. -

This is all a lie, a big fat lie. Everyone knows that SWA is going to buy Comair and then give OH all the 717's to fly for SWA pay. Down side of this whole deal is we will still have to wear our hats. -

Glock 23 for $399......
H&K ended their pilot offer, but I found out Glock is offering 23's (.40 cal) for $399 for all pt 121 pilots. Thought I'd spread the good word. Check with your gun dealer. -

Not a bad idea. The TSA should employ AME's as security agents, as you go through the metal detector you can swipe your insurance card. The AME preform the pat downs and when it's all said and done, you have been cleared security and you've just completed you medical. -
