Bringing in Large Sums of Cash: Customs, IRS Questions

I have to pick up a jet in the US (I am currently out of the country). Boss wants to give me $40K in cash for certain expenses. Any amount over ten grand requires a declaration to Customs which is then reported to the IRS. Is this gonna' get me audited? It isn't my money.

    Checkride failures

Depends on the company. Most pilots have busted a ride. It is almost never an issue unless you have a string of them.

Why is AT&T losing its pilots?

Too bad ERJ F/O for $17K a year doesn't count. LOL I made more than $35K flying air ambulance piston twins for crying out loud.

Why is AT&T losing its pilots?

I know they hired half a dozen of us with 121 experience. All my colleagues with that background were FABULOUS pilots. Not sure that answers the question you asked but there you go.
