    Gear Failure at OKC-Video link

Nose was locked down and mains had no green lights. Couldn't pump it down. Did a fine job of putting it down. After they jacked it up, apparently they had to pry one of the mains down. First question Feds asked was "Are you active in the Wings program" Feds in my neck of the woods love the...

    Aspen VFR

Thanks for all the replies. I had the pax drive up to EGE and all was well. Just a note: For going into ASE the first time, I made the reservations via the FAA's website and had no problem. For going in the second time, I had Universal make the reservation for me ($25 each). Thought that would...

    Single-Engine Climb requirements

yeah, I've read 135.181(a)(2) before and it appears as just that...climb at 50'ft/min at the MEA's, but not anything that lists and obstacle departure from the airport. Thanks guys!

    Single-Engine Climb requirements

yeah, I know about that enroute climb which I believe is climb 50 ft/min to 5000' or the MEA whichever is higher. But I'm refering to the climb performance to clear obstacles while departing an airport in which takeoff minimums are prescribed- as in more than 200 ft/NM.

    Single-Engine Climb requirements

For Small, non-transport 135 aircraft, (King Air 90, 200, Baron, etc), do you have to have single-engine climb gradient performance? If so, can you direct me to the reg? I can't find it anywhere!!! My flight dept is split. I understand you have to meet the requirements on takeoff-but do you have...

    Logbook Pro & ATP

I just did my ATP at Flightsafety after completing an initial for a K-B200. I also had my log book in logbook pro. The instructor/examiner just wanted to go through it and asked me about a few of the flights. I never had to print it out, THANK GOD!-That would drain all my ink from my printer! :)

    Stevens investments

Stephens has nothing to do with dillards. Dillards now have a G-V, G-450, and 3 Lr-45's. One of the 45's is in Dallas. They used to have a Challenger 601 or 604, a Falcon 900, G-v, and a few Lear 31's.

    Stevens investments

Before they split into two different companies, they had 2 50EX's, 1 900EX, or DX's and 4 Citations. I believe they got rid of all of the citations, and have a Falcon 2000, another 900EX and one additional 50EX. Don't know if they have anymore planes on order. Thye just hired at least 3-4 guys...

    Multi instrument and single instrument

So, I take it that your answer says that after someone has completed their multi-inst checkride that they can't fly a single legally in IMC, IFR flight plan, etc? They would have to do a single-inst checkride correct?

    Multi instrument and single instrument

If someone passes a multi-engine checkride, do they automatically have single engine privilages or do they also have to do a single engine checkride as well? Thanks!

    Vacating altitudes

Alright, did a search and came up with only one thread that answered only one of my questions a few pilots and I are arguing. According to AIM 5-3-3 you are supposed to "At all times report vacating a previously assigned altitude for a newly assigned altitude." By the thread I just read (by...
