    Travel Management-Elkhart IN. ????

We don't have Domiciles, so you can live anywhere. Yes you do have to pay for parking, but you don't have to fly out of ORD. As far as "brokered trips" we stay really busy. 8/6 is the schedule. Wednesdays are always your travel day. If you volunteer to fly on your day off, they offer $300 a...

    Telex series

We have the 850s in your jet fleet. They do a great job, but probably not in a King Air. For that we use good old fashion David Clarks. And I have also heard that the David Clark ANRs are really good.

Enterprize Rent A Car Gives Out Private Information

I recently got a call too. I told them how bad the experience was and they said someone would call from enterprise. It's been about 3 weeks and haven't heard a word.

    Rrop

http://wireless.fcc.gov/commoperators/rp.html Easy to get, fill out some forms, give some money and it comes in the mail. About 50 bucks when i did it. Hope that helps.

    SIC Type rating

No it was 91, but I think the big reason was so that anyone in the flight department could do the training, and all the paper work would be handled by the Chief Pilot.

    SIC Type rating

Our Chief Pilot came up with a training plan and took it to the local FSDO. They approved it and now we send them the paper work, they send us the tickets.

    Simcom C550 SIC Initial

I went to Flight Safety earlier this month for SIC initial. They're giving out the new SIC type. Just a new way to give the SIC endorsement, plus a new license. Wonder if Simcom is doing that too?

    Over Grossweight

Thanks for the input. In answer to Avbugs question, the airplane has no useful load. People or fuel but not both (legally). I guess I'm glad to see that this seems to be a company problem versus an industry problem. It’s nice to know that there are some quality flight departments out there...

    Over Grossweight

We operate an airplane that is very weight critical. Frequently to keep from making a stop, gross weight is exceeded by a couple hundred pounds, sometimes more. Flying as a copilot I don’t have much choice other than refusing to get on the plane. I’ve tried arguing both the safety and legal...

    Violating an FAR

I doubt they would rather you ground an airplane, and have to ship someone in to fix a nav light either. I was told they are looking for commonsense, and it worked for me.

    Violating an FAR

How about....at a remote airport, night, no maintenance, and a position light is inop? Flew home. Doesn't seem to damning.
