Management is in SEA supposedly inking a deal with Alaska to fly CRJs for them. It's a fact that they're there but everything else is rumor. -

SkyWest Pilots cancel IAH-DFW for scope viloation!
The guidance from CALPA on this one was to fly the flight and then report to SAPA any CO code violations who would forward it to CALPA legal to address with management. Instead this guy took it one step further. Good luck to him/her. -

I commute out of IAH and I am definately not excited about this flying being as contested as it is. I haven't decided whether to accept/decline a houston transfer but part of me thinks that I'm screwed either way. If I decline the bid and continue to commute out of IAH how would I know I won't... -

If you guys did get a west coast base and all 3 pilot groups did merge lists, very few people at XJT who want a west coast base would be senior enough to hold it. -

If anything the past 3 years have shown that being union or not has no effect of upgrade times or the amount of flying you win in a RFP. That will have no bearing on whether or not SKW votes in a union. -

It's up to you to enforce your own scope, not the SKW pilots to interpret or uphold it. This is going to get worked out between you and management either through your respective lawyers or the court system. As for this being a scab operations, I don't think you understand the actual meaning... -

Sorry to sound like a jerk, but do you even fly the CRJ-200? 35 passengers on a bad weather day? Are you kidding me? The most restricted I've ever personally seen with an alternate and a boatload of fuel and bags has been at 48, possibly 47, passengers. That happens rarely. I haven't experienced... -

Let's see, the UAL JSC threatens UEX to change their jumpseat priority and this is seen as a professional request, and yet the UEX threat to protect their own jumpseats for their own people is seen as immature. Double standards all around for the UAL JSC! -
