    Does anyone know if Private Air Charters is still around? Their website is saying the domain was suspended and is no longer coming up nor can I find much on them via web search. They were running the DoJets based in HEF I think it was. Thanks for any info.

    To clarify: I was only assisting the actual mechanic (handing him tools etc, it was his call in, I just went for the ride for the heck of it) we did not need to CDL it. The reason I asked was because I remember sometimes that the screw that threads into the wick can sometimes get all fkd up...

    Thanks for the info. I acutally thought it was the lower one that could be missing not the top. I was assisting on a contract call on a Pinnacle CRJ where the top one had broken off and the lower one was OK. They had us R&R the upper one with the spare they carry. I never looked in the CDL...

    It's Corning Glass out of KELM. All of their aircraft have that paint job. They were never pre Coast Gaurd aircraft.

    RVDT failure down on the nose gear? Who knows. Need better details as to what failure codes MX pulled (if they did) out of the ECU after the first occurance. I have not heard of uncommanded steering, just failure to respond as was mentioned. Good job keeping it on the runway !

    I believe that Virgin America also ordered their A320 family acft with the CFM engines. IDE runs the V2500s. This engine mix would cost more in parts, training etc....
