    Nice job, Delta Crew

To the 717 crew with the dual generator failure going in to ATL yesterday during IMC and dodging thunderstorms - nice work. Glad it turned out OK. Would like to know if they found out what the hell caused a dual failure?

    Game Over, Gulfstream!

For the past 20 years, the worst offender in the race to the bottom, as we all know, has been Gulfstream Int'l Airlines, a ragtag B1900 operator which, instead of interviewing and hiring professional First Officers, came up instead with a novel idea- to actually charge inexperienced pilots...

Any minimum taxi speed guidance at your airline?

AirTran management is apparently concerned that some pilots are "taxiing too slowly" as a reaction to the lack of progress at the table. Does any major airline publish suggested taxi speed guidance in their Flight Ops Manuals? Any input from UAL or AMR guys would be especially welcome.

How does your company plan fuel loads?

Looking for some input. A certain airline has recently cut back on the amount of fuel they are dispatching flights with, and some pilots feel the amounts are little "light", to put it mildly. Anyone else being dispatched to land with 5000# in a 73NG? It's a good 1000# light, IMHO. .

    Way to go Neil Cavuto!

Signing off tonight, he dismissed Dan Rather crying about being let go from CBS after 44 years . . . and said not to feel sorry for him, and that Dan leaves with millions, while Delta Airlines pilots have given up 50% of their pay . . . . . .
