I haven't instructed in the US since 2004 and overseas since 2005 and I know many things have changed.
How would I go about teaching the wife(not a US citizen) to fly on our own airplane in the States?
Thanks in advance!!
For those of you who have abandoned ship in the US and moved overseas to fly, are you happy now? I know it depends on where you go and who you fly for but I would like to get some advice on flying abroad. Things like cockpit culture, CRM, way of life, is it worth it, etc.
Thanks in advance,
VF
Guys, I need to make a decision soon so I would like to see your point of view on this.
I am currently an F/O with 3500TT and 1000hrs A320 time and no 121 PIC, flying in South America. With all of the caos that is happening here now and has happened in the last few months, I can't stand to live...
For those of you who are going to be flying to Brazil, be careful when in Brazilian airspace. Ever since the accident last year things are chaotic at best and it gets worse near national holidays. What the controllers are doing to us is a joke. Flights going to Europe are put on hold 30 minutes...
Hello fellow aviators,
I have done a search on the forum but did not find the answer. Does anybody know the process for getting an SIC type rating on an ICAO license to an FAA license?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks
Hi guys,
I was wondering which one of these two states has more opportunities for flight instructors and Part 135 jobs. It seems like that Florida has way more companies and flight schools than California. Just curious to hear what your thoughts are. Thanks in advance.
After waiting and waiting and waiting I finally received an email from eagle for an interview. Where can I find information about the interview? Has anybody been through the interview process recently? What can I expect? Also do alot of people fail the interview or most interviewees make it...
Does anybody know if Skywest hires people into the CRJs? If they do, what are the requirements or what are the chances to get the CRJ.
thanks in advance.
I was wondering how long it takes after you get hired into the majors to start flying international flights to south america. I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. Does that speeds up the process or it has no influence at all?
Thanks in advance
