JetSuite & Wheels Up - When Will We See Bigger Equipment?

I agree. Who's to say they will ever get larger equipment? The small jet and TP market is where the bulk of the business is. There's an awful lot of capacity in the mid and large jet segment. That comes with higher risk and overhead.

    USA Jet B727 Ops

Sierra West did have a listing for 727 crews a while back. I'm surprised JUS didn't go for the 737-400, it looks like Kalitta Charters II just acquired one. But I'll always be a 727 fan.

    NONSTOP Aviation Boca Raton

Since we're into 135s in Boca, is Journey Aviation just a resurrection of Universal Jet or something else? Their fleet shows a lot of UJ tails. Did UJA ever shut down?

Looks like at least one is up and running. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/TMC620

    latest on acass?

What kind of protection do they offer you in the opposite case? Do you get your full one year pay if the plane goes away or something changes? Probably not. It's not like that scenario is that far-fetched. I understand that when you need a job, you're more likely to overlook certain things but...

The New Eastern Air Lines Just Ordered (MOU) 20 MRJs In addition to 737Max

I'm no genius by any stretch of the imagination and being from Miami, I followed things pretty closely down there during the 70s and 80s with NA, EA and PA but you've got Jetblue and Spirit in FLL with SWA now throwing their hat into the mix flying South. AAL in MIA as strong as it gets in the...

Just finished up the AF FIRC. Relatively painless and use their paperwork service, well worth the money.

Well, all those jackasses except for Kit Darby, right? I mean, he is THE authority on all things aviation, isn't he?

No kidding, pretty sustained looking winds to me.

    Crash at ASE...

Yeah, you're right. Because 135 crews haven't ever had any problems at Aspen and 121 crews never make mistakes either. What was I thinking?

    Plane crash Aspen

Circled to 33 once in a Hawker, GPWS barking the whole time. I wouldn't venture it in our 605. That was a perfect scenario to divert.

Single in PHX area for instruction

Looking for a 172 or something else to rent in the SDL/DVT area to provide instruction for a private student. A few places I talked to claimed insurance was a problem for a non-company CFI.

Michael Boyd vs. 50 seat RJs

Man, Denver to Knoxville on a 135? Wow, isn't that really stretching that airplane? I remember doing DAL-IAH on a 135 and hating it the entire way. Personally, I'll take a CRJ any day, even a 50 seater, over a 135/145.

    Air France 320 in MIA

They're only showing Paris flights from SXM. Not sure when they dropped SXM from the Caribbean network but I do remember seeing narrow bodies there in the past. I think they also flew to SJU from the French Antilles at some point too.
