Has it been SOP for UAL to issue separate (in addition to their own "regional" EMP ID #'s) UAL employee numbers to "regional" partner pilots/FA's/Mx/Dx for accessing UAL's system for work duties/benefits?
(I don't care for the word "regional" but I think it helped clarify my question here...)...

According to reports, the Captain reported problems with his "wind brakes" (reporter's words, not mine) after 20 or so minutes into the flight. Came back and landed and had some tires blow out.

Rumor on the street is that NWA management will seek to decertify the ATA (http://www.airlines.org/) as their representative body after any merger with DAL if any of their management team ends up junior to or less compensated than any DAL manager.
Company cars are also a subject of debate...
