    USAirways to buy Republic?

    Heard from a guy with connections to the Republic POI that USair wants the E170s back. Also, because of the J4J deals, it would be cheaper to just buy Republic and label the pilots airways employees, than to retrain them on different equipment and for Republic to hire replacements. Possible?.....

    smoking in the cockpit

    How many of you guys can still smoke while flying? One of the best parts of my job is being to smoke anytime. Do many freight runners and such get away with it? After all, those little storm windows work great! Are there many corp. flight departments that still allow smoking?
