    Emirates interview medical check

Are they still insisting on a BMI under 30? Or did that go away?

Evergreen pilots vote to authorize strike

Did anyone read the article in the Oregonian and then read the comments by some of the readers? Its amazing just how myopic some people can be. They have never walked a day in our shoes and yet they feel they know everything about airlines, flying and operations. It makes my blood boil. Unions...

    Emirates US Road Shows?

I can't understand why management people think that RJ drivers cannot fly larger aircraft. It makes no sense. To me its all the same.....and airplane is an airplane!! I went from the CRJ to the 747 classic as did my other colleagues.

    Emirates US Road Shows?

I went to the one in Houston. Very informative about the company and the lifestyle that you can expect. As far as I know, there weren't any offers for interviews.

skeds Overseas it business. In the US to include AK and HI its economy. About schedules: I was based in HSV and it was quite stable. I would consistently hold the beginning of the month off. That means a 17 day trip that started mid month and finished on the 30th 31st of the 1st. Now I am...

    Evergreen has a TA

I was EZ from 2005 until 2008. It was a great opportunity. I then left EZ in '08 for 5Y (ATLAS) as a -400 FO. I was furloughed in '09 for 8 months and I lost a lot. But I still feel that leaving EZ was the best decision of my professional career. As long as Del has anything to do with the...

Any New Hires at Atlas Air?

I used to be an RJ and turboprop driver for Eagle before I flew 747s. I performed to the same level if not better than the others in my class. Regional pilots are no different than any other pilots out there. Trust me!! This BS of military pilots being better is simply not true. I have seen all...

    Emirates interviews

I wasn't offered an interview at EK because my BMI was 1.2 over their limit and I needed another PC (i was furloughed). This was in September of '09. I can't say for sure, but I am willing to bet they still have those requirements. I haven't updated my app since. Good Luck to all.

Turkish Airlines Crash Explained : inattentive pilots

I remember that saying!! Today as I have the opportunity to fly heavier and more advanced aircraft, I still back up the autothrottles by keeping my hand on them when they are engaged...especially during the approach. I have never had to disconnect them beacuse of a problem, but I have come...

    DXB overnight

Hi all, Does anyone have the contact info for the Emirates recruitment office in DXB (telephone # and address)? I have a DXB overnight soon, and I would like to speak with a recruiter in person. I realize that this might seem a bit out of the ordinary, but with a furlough notice on the way, I...
