Fair Wind Air Charter Info ?

Man, I am not sure where you got some of this info, but A.B. definetly does not own any of Fair Wind, it is owned entirely by C.H. and his Dad, Ray. A.B is just the D.O. and is an employee of the company like everyone else. They may have been another 'crappy South Florida 135' before but not...

Fair Wind Air Charter Info ?

That is pretty much what you can expect at any, every, and all, Part 135 Charter outfits. It just comes with the job, hence the term, "non-scheduled on Demand".

    CL30 or G200?

We have two 300's in our company and are looking at a third. We have found them to be very economical and reliable. The only changes that I have heard Bombardier may make is stretching the cabin and adding 'INS' (IRU's) as an option...

    Signature

Hey Star, I think I know who you may be talking about. She is sporting a serious permanent tan. I have had issues with her as well, but across the runway at Signature TEB. She is truly in the wrong business. A dose of humility would do her a world of good. Sadly, her tan will probably save...

Should an ATP be required for both pilots?

Tony, I don't mean any disrespect to you and I also agree that experience matter's however, MOST people are not ready to handle the responsibility that Part 121 flying truly entails until they are at least 23. Heck, most people that attend college don't even graduate until about age 23 and then...

Should an ATP be required for both pilots?

I'm well aware of that (hence the parenthesis) however, the average 'Joe' still deserves the same level of Safety (if not the pampering). A human life is a human life, the worth of that life should not be based upon economics.

Should an ATP be required for both pilots?

Do it! And Fast! Require an ATP to work for any Part 121 Air carrier. It may not be a perfect solution however, it is a positive step in the right direction.

    Segrave Info

I'm not sure if you have done a search, however, there were several postings about Segrave during the last two years or so. None of them good...

    What is NJ looking for?

Anyone see the latest interview post from aviationinterviews.com? I think some of the frustration is starting to show.

    Magazines

I get free subscriptions to the following: Pro Pilot Aviation International News Business and Commercial Aviation Airline Transport World (from my airline days) All of them provide a unique perspective on the Aviation Industry and by combining each of them, I get a fairly well rounded...

    Preferred Hotel Chain

I'm also a Hilton fan (Diamond member). After that, I like to stay at the Marriott hotels (but they are very hard to make gold). And Priority Club hotels after that (Holiday Inn, Crown Plaza, etc), they are easy to make Gold. I won't go out of my way to stay at a Hilton though, I usually...

    What is NJ looking for?

OMG!! I had no idea that D.M. was gone! What happened? Anyone know?! I was counting on her to help me get another interview once I was eligible to reapply in September. Oh no!! Well, regardless, I hold her in a very high esteem. She personified what NJ was trying to convey.

Where in the carolina's would you retire?

Dude! Who are you? Spike Lee?! Black folks have it better than white folks in the South today. When was your last visit, 1955? This is the New South, and things have indeed changed. Some for the better, and some not. Get with the times! Hey, we even got cable and watch Opra with it! Geez!

    Sentient Jet financial problems

I do know for a fact that Sentient owes a certain Part 135 Charter outfit out of SUA, 1 Million dollars for services rendered (and they are not alone), and it is overdue. The funny thing is, that this company had let all their clients go over the years and was 95% in bed with Sentient. Basic...

Landmark IAD is nothing to sing about. All Signatures (actually, MMU ain't bad) I agree on the JimsAir SAN sentiment.

    G-IV pay

The only numbers I have are Pro Pilot Salary Survey, but they show the AVG G-4 Charter PIC makes $121K per year and the SIC makes $70K per year. I have found these numbers to be fairly reliable for South Florida Charter operators.

Can anyone tell me about XO Jet?

Well, I was going to suggest trying www.airlinepilotcentral.com, but when I checked it out I noticed that XO JET was not covered as of yet, so I guess this site is your best bet then.
